26Nevertheless you would not go up, but rebelled against the command of the LORD your God:
2Therefore the people quarreled with Moses, and said, Give us water that we may drink. And Moses said to them, Why do you quarrel with me? Why do you test the LORD?
41And Moses said, Why now do you transgress the commandment of the LORD? but it shall not prosper.
15Take therefore good heed to yourselves; for you saw no form on the day that the LORD spoke to you in Horeb out of the midst of the fire:
3You shall have no other gods before Me.

6Why then do you harden your hearts as the Egyptians and Pharaoh hardened their hearts? When He had worked wonders among them, did they not let the people go, and they departed?
12And you shall set boundaries for the people round about, saying, Take heed to yourselves, that you do not go up into the mount, or touch the border of it; whoever touches the mount shall surely be put to death:
16According to all that you desired of the LORD your God in Horeb on the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God, nor let me see this great fire anymore, lest I die.
22Neither shall you set up for yourself any image, which the LORD your God hates.
6The LORD our God spoke to us in Horeb, saying, You have dwelt long enough in this mountain:
2You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take anything from it, that you may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.
17And then the LORD'S wrath be kindled against you, and He shuts up the heaven, so there is no rain, and the land yields no fruit; and you perish quickly from off the good land which the LORD gives you.
28And the LORD said to Moses, How long will you refuse to keep my commandments and my laws?
14For you rebelled against my command in the desert of Zin, during the strife of the congregation, to sanctify me at the water before their eyes: this is the water of Meribah in Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin.
