13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called Today; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
6 Seeing therefore it remains that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached did not enter because of unbelief:
7 Again, he designates a certain day, saying in David, "Today," after so long a time, as it is said, "Today if you will hear his voice, harden not your hearts."
40 How often did they provoke him in the wilderness, and grieve him in the desert!
41 Yes, they turned back and tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel.

8 Now do not be stiff-necked, as your fathers were, but yield yourselves to the LORD, and enter into His sanctuary, which He has sanctified forever: and serve the LORD your God, that the fierceness of His wrath may turn away from you.
2 And you shall remember all the way which the LORD your God led you these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you, and to test you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep his commandments, or not.
7 Remember, and do not forget, how you provoked the LORD your God to wrath in the wilderness: from the day that you departed out of the land of Egypt, until you came to this place, you have been rebellious against the LORD.
8 Also in Horeb you provoked the LORD to wrath, so that the LORD was angry with you to destroy you.
16 But they and our forefathers acted proudly, hardened their necks, and did not heed Your commandments.
9 Do not tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed by snakes.
17 And they sinned yet more against him by provoking the Most High in the wilderness.
18 And they tempted God in their heart by asking meat for their desire.
16 Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no longer stubborn.
22 And at Taberah, and at Massah, and at Kibroth-hattaavah, you provoked the LORD to wrath.
