Who led you through that great and terrible wilderness, wherein were fiery serpents, and scorpions, and drought, where there was no water; who brought you water out of the rock of flint;

20Behold, he struck the rock, that the waters gushed out, and the streams overflowed; can he give bread also? can he provide flesh for his people?
8"Take the rod, and gather the assembly together, you and Aaron your brother, and speak to the rock before their eyes, and it will yield its water; thus you shall bring water for them out of the rock, and give drink to the congregation and their livestock."
19And when we departed from Horeb, we went through all that great and terrible wilderness, which you saw by the way of the mountain of the Amorites, as the LORD our God commanded us; and we came to Kadesh Barnea.
19Yet in Your overwhelming mercies, You did not forsake them in the wilderness; the pillar of cloud did not depart from them by day to lead them on the way, nor the pillar of fire by night to show them light and the way they should go.
20You also gave Your good Spirit to instruct them, and did not withhold Your manna from their mouth, and gave them water for their thirst.
21For forty years You sustained them in the wilderness, so that they lacked nothing; their clothes did not wear out and their feet did not swell.
7Remember, and do not forget, how you provoked the LORD your God to wrath in the wilderness: from the day that you departed out of the land of Egypt, until you came to this place, you have been rebellious against the LORD.
8Also in Horeb you provoked the LORD to wrath, so that the LORD was angry with you to destroy you.
28Lest the land from which you brought us out say, Because the LORD was not able to bring them into the land which he promised them, and because he hated them, he has brought them out to kill them in the wilderness.
41He opened the rock, and the waters gushed out; they ran in the dry places like a river.
7For the LORD your God has blessed you in all the works of your hands; He knows your walking through this great wilderness. These forty years the LORD your God has been with you; you have lacked nothing.
5And I have led you forty years in the wilderness: your clothes have not worn out upon you, and your shoes have not worn out upon your feet.
17Have you not brought this upon yourself, in that you have forsaken the LORD your God, when he led you in the way?
8And the LORD brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with great terribleness, and with signs, and with wonders:

9A land where you shall eat bread without scarcity, you shall not lack anything in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills you may dig copper.
36He brought them out, after he showed wonders and signs in the land of Egypt, and in the Red Sea, and in the wilderness for forty years.
4And why have you brought the congregation of the LORD into this wilderness so that we and our livestock should die here?
5And why have you made us come up out of Egypt to bring us to this evil place? It is not a place of grain, or figs, or vines, or pomegranates; nor is there any water to drink."
25And he cried to the LORD; and the LORD showed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet: there he made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there he tested them,
9When your fathers tested Me, proved Me, and saw My works forty years.
20But the LORD has taken you, and brought you forth out of the iron furnace, even out of Egypt, to be to him a people of inheritance, as you are this day.
13In your mercy you have led forth the people whom you have redeemed: you have guided them in your strength to your holy habitation.
7You called in trouble, and I delivered you; I answered you in the secret place of thunder; I tested you at the waters of Meribah. Selah.
