16And I looked, and, behold, you had sinned against the LORD your God, and had made for yourselves a molten calf: you had quickly turned aside out of the way which the LORD had commanded you.
34After the number of the days in which you searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall you bear your iniquities, even forty years, and you shall know my breach of promise.
32Yet, in this thing you did not believe the LORD your God,
33Who went in the way before you, to search out a place for you to pitch your tents, in fire by night to show you by what way you should go, and in a cloud by day.
34And the LORD heard the sound of your words, and was angry, and swore, saying,
26Nevertheless, they were disobedient and rebelled against You, cast Your law behind their backs, and killed Your prophets who testified against them, to turn them back to You, and they performed great provocations.
16But they and our forefathers acted proudly, hardened their necks, and did not heed Your commandments.
17They refused to obey, and were not mindful of Your wonders that You did among them. But they hardened their necks, and in their rebellion appointed a leader to return to their bondage. But You are a God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abundant in kindness, and did not forsake them.
18Even when they made a molten calf for themselves, and said, 'This is your God that brought you up out of Egypt,' and committed great provocations,
7We have dealt very corruptly against You, and have not kept the commandments, nor the statutes, nor the judgments, which You commanded Your servant Moses.
9When your fathers tested Me, proved Me, and saw My works forty years.
12And the LORD said to me, Arise, go down quickly from here; for your people which you have brought out of Egypt have corrupted themselves; they have quickly turned aside out of the way which I commanded them; they have made for themselves a molten image.
13Furthermore the LORD spoke to me, saying, I have seen this people, and, look, it is a stiff-necked people:
29For I know that after my death you will utterly corrupt yourselves, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will befall you in the latter days; because you will do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger through the work of your hands.
37Also the LORD was angry with me because of you, saying, You also shall not go in there.
2And you shall remember all the way which the LORD your God led you these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you, and to test you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep his commandments, or not.
8Yes, you did not hear; yes, you did not know; yes, from that time your ear was not opened: for I knew you would deal very treacherously, and were called a transgressor from the womb.
9That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children who will not hear the law of the LORD:
51Because you trespassed against me among the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah-Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because you did not sanctify me in the midst of the children of Israel.
7For I earnestly protested to your fathers in the day that I brought them up out of the land of Egypt, even to this day, rising early and protesting, saying, Obey my voice.
41And Moses said, Why now do you transgress the commandment of the LORD? but it shall not prosper.
14And, behold, you have risen in your fathers' place, an increase of sinful men, to add still more to the fierce anger of the LORD toward Israel.
9And I spoke to you at that time, saying, I am not able to bear you myself alone:
15But if you will not obey the voice of the LORD, but rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then shall the hand of the LORD be against you, as it was against your fathers.
29Why will you plead with me? you all have transgressed against me, says the LORD.
8This is what your fathers did when I sent them from Kadesh-barnea to see the land.
8They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made a molten calf, have worshiped it, have sacrificed to it, and have said, 'These are your gods, O Israel, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt.'"
9The LORD said to Moses, "I have seen this people, and indeed it is a stiff-necked people.
2And know this day: for I speak not with your children who have not known or seen the discipline of the LORD your God, His greatness, His mighty hand, and His outstretched arm,
23But this people has a revolting and a rebellious heart; they have revolted and gone.
29Your carcasses shall fall in this wilderness; and all that were numbered of you, according to your whole number, from twenty years old and upward, who have murmured against me,
5I knew you in the wilderness, in the land of great drought.
1Hear this word that the LORD has spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the whole family which I brought up from the land of Egypt, saying,
19And when we departed from Horeb, we went through all that great and terrible wilderness, which you saw by the way of the mountain of the Amorites, as the LORD our God commanded us; and we came to Kadesh Barnea.
30But as for you and your servants, I know that you will not yet fear the LORD God.
5We have sinned and committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from Your precepts and from Your judgments:
