Likewise when the LORD sent you from Kadesh-barnea, saying, Go up and possess the land which I have given you; then you rebelled against the commandment of the LORD your God, and you did not believe him, nor listen to his voice.

22And every one of you came near to me, and said, Let us send men before us, and they shall search out the land for us, and bring us back word of the way we must go up and of the cities we will come to.
15You gave them bread from heaven for their hunger, and brought forth water for them out of the rock for their thirst, and promised them that they would go in to possess the land which You had sworn to give them.
16But they and our forefathers acted proudly, hardened their necks, and did not heed Your commandments.
17They refused to obey, and were not mindful of Your wonders that You did among them. But they hardened their necks, and in their rebellion appointed a leader to return to their bondage. But You are a God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abundant in kindness, and did not forsake them.
24Yes, they despised the pleasant land, they did not believe his word.
25But murmured in their tents, and did not listen to the voice of the LORD.
37Also the LORD was angry with me because of you, saying, You also shall not go in there.
51Because you trespassed against me among the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah-Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because you did not sanctify me in the midst of the children of Israel.
52Yet you shall see the land before you; but you shall not go there to the land which I give the children of Israel.
13But if you say, We will not dwell in this land, neither obey the voice of the LORD your God,
23And they came in, and possessed it; but they did not obey your voice, nor walked in your law; they have done nothing of all that you commanded them to do: therefore you have caused all this evil to come upon them:
45Then you returned and wept before the LORD; but the LORD would not listen to your voice, nor give ear to you.
18But that you must turn away this day from following the LORD? And it will be, seeing you rebel today against the LORD, that tomorrow He will be angry with the whole congregation of Israel.
19If the land of your possession is unclean, then cross over to the land of the possession of the LORD, where the LORD’s tabernacle dwells, and take possession among us; but do not rebel against the LORD, nor rebel against us, by building for yourselves an altar besides the altar of the LORD our God.
23Surely they shall not see the land which I swore to their fathers, neither shall any of them that provoked me see it:
11Surely none of the men who came up out of Egypt, from twenty years old and upward, shall see the land that I swore to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; because they have not wholly followed me,
10And I said unto you, I am the LORD your God; fear not the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But you have not obeyed my voice.
41And Moses said, Why now do you transgress the commandment of the LORD? but it shall not prosper.
26But the LORD was angry with me for your sakes and would not hear me; and the LORD said to me: Enough! Do not speak to me anymore about this matter.
29Your carcasses shall fall in this wilderness; and all that were numbered of you, according to your whole number, from twenty years old and upward, who have murmured against me,
30Surely you shall not come into the land, concerning which I swore to make you dwell therein, except Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.
12because they did not obey the voice of the LORD their God, but transgressed his covenant, and all that Moses the servant of the LORD had commanded, and neither would they listen to them nor do them.
21Furthermore the LORD was angry with me for your sakes, and swore that I should not go over Jordan, and that I should not go into that good land, which the LORD your God gives you for an inheritance:
