Understand therefore, that the LORD your God does not give you this good land to possess it because of your righteousness; for you are a stiff-necked people.

9 The LORD shall establish you a holy people unto Himself, as He has sworn unto you, if you shall keep the commandments of the LORD your God, and walk in His ways.
3 For they did not gain the land in possession by their own sword, nor did their own arm save them: but Your right hand, and Your arm, and the light of Your countenance, because You had favor unto them.
6 Why then do you harden your hearts as the Egyptians and Pharaoh hardened their hearts? When He had worked wonders among them, did they not let the people go, and they departed?
5 And the LORD your God will bring you into the land which your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it; and he will do you good, and multiply you above your fathers.
17 If you shall say in your heart, These nations are more than I; how can I dispossess them?
23 Then the LORD will drive out all these nations from before you, and you shall possess greater and mightier nations than yourselves.
13 And I have given you a land for which you did not labor, and cities which you did not build, and you dwell in them; you eat from vineyards and oliveyards which you did not plant.
10 And it shall be, when the LORD your God has brought you into the land which he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give you great and good cities, which you did not build,
1 These are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments which the LORD your God commanded to teach you, that you might do them in the land you are going to possess:
53 For you separated them from among all the people of the earth, to be your inheritance, as you spoke by the hand of Moses your servant, when you brought our fathers out of Egypt, O Lord GOD.
5 And the LORD your God, he shall expel them from before you and drive them from out of your sight; and you shall possess their land, as the LORD your God has promised you.
52 Yet you shall see the land before you; but you shall not go there to the land which I give the children of Israel.
