44And yet for all that, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them: for I am the LORD their God.

19And it shall come to pass, when you shall say, Why does the LORD our God do all these things to us? then you shall answer them, Just as you have forsaken me, and served strange gods in your land, so shall you serve strangers in a land that is not yours.
9And I will deliver them to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth for their harm, to be a reproach and a proverb, a taunt and a curse, in all places where I shall drive them.
3And death shall be chosen rather than life by all the remnant of those that remain of this evil family, who remain in all the places where I have driven them, says the LORD of hosts.
45You have made us like refuse and scorn among the people.
