6Then the LORD said to me, Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying, Hear the words of this covenant, and do them.
14Seek good, and not evil, that you may live; and so the LORD, the God of hosts, shall be with you, as you have spoken.
18When you shall listen to the voice of the LORD your God, to keep all his commandments which I command you this day, to do what is right in the eyes of the LORD your God.
8And if you offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? and if you offer the lame and sick, is it not evil? Offer it now to your governor; will he be pleased with you, or accept you? says the LORD of hosts.
9And now, I pray you, plead with God that he will be gracious to us: this has been by your means: will he regard you? says the LORD of hosts.
6With what shall I come before the LORD, and bow myself before the High God? Shall I come before Him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old?
7Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, or ten thousand rivers of oil? Shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?
6By mercy and truth iniquity is purged, and by the fear of the LORD one departs from evil.
13And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn to the LORD your God, for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and he repents of the evil.
5He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD.
13Therefore now amend your ways and your deeds, and obey the voice of the LORD your God; and the LORD will relent of the evil that he has pronounced against you.
14Therefore the LORD has watched over the calamity, and brought it upon us: for the LORD our God is righteous in all His works which He does: for we have not obeyed His voice.

10And it shall come to pass, when you show this people all these words, and they say to you, Why has the LORD pronounced all this great evil against us? or what is our iniquity? or what is our sin that we have committed against the LORD our God?
