5 Who knew me from the beginning, if they would testify, that according to the strictest sect of our religion I lived a Pharisee.
22 Are they Hebrews? So am I. Are they Israelites? So am I. Are they the seed of Abraham? So am I.
9 And be found in him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith:
1 I say then, Has God cast away His people? Certainly not. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
6 But when Paul perceived that one part were Sadducees and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, Men and brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee: concerning the hope and resurrection of the dead I am being questioned.
20 And to the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might win the Jews; to those who are under the law, as under the law, that I might win those who are under the law;
21 To those who are without law, as without law (not being without law toward God, but under law toward Christ), that I might win those who are without law.
25 For circumcision truly profits if you keep the law: but if you are a breaker of the law, your circumcision is made uncircumcision.
26 Therefore if the uncircumcised keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted as circumcision?
27 And shall not the uncircumcised which is by nature, if it fulfills the law, judge you, who by the letter and circumcision transgress the law?
28 For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision which is outward in the flesh:
29 But he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not from men, but from God.
5 But there arose certain of the sect of the Pharisees who believed, saying, It is necessary to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.
15 We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles,
16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by the faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.
3 For I testify again to every man who is circumcised, that he is a debtor to keep the whole law.

13 For neither do they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, so that they may boast in your flesh.
