- Rom 3:24-26 : 24 And all are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. 25 God presented Him as a sacrifice of atonement, through faith in His blood, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance He had passed over the sins previously committed. 26 He did this to demonstrate His righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.
- Eph 2:16-18 : 16 and might reconcile both to God in one body through the cross, by which He put their hostility to death. 17 He came and proclaimed peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. 18 For through Him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.
- Heb 4:14-16 : 14 Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens—Jesus, the Son of God—let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in every way as we are—yet without sin. 16 Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
- Heb 7:25-28 : 25 Therefore, he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them. 26 Such a high priest truly meets our need: one who is holy, innocent, undefiled, separate from sinners, and exalted above the heavens. 27 He does not need to offer sacrifices every day, as high priests do—first for their own sins and then for the sins of the people. He did this once for all when he offered himself. 28 For the law appoints men who are weak as high priests, but the word of the oath, which came after the law, appoints the Son, who has been made perfect forever.
- Heb 9:12-15 : 12 He did not enter by the blood of goats and calves, but by His own blood. He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. 13 For if the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on those who are ceremonially unclean sanctify them so their bodies are outwardly clean, 14 how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from dead works so that we may serve the living God? 15 Therefore, Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance—now that He has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.
- Heb 10:19-22 : 19 Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, His body, 21 and since we have a great high priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.
