14But the natural person does not accept the things of God's Spirit, because they are foolishness to him. He cannot understand them because they are spiritually discerned.
15The spiritual person examines all things, but he himself is not subject to being examined by anyone.

1Now concerning food sacrificed to idols: we know that we all possess knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up.
2If anyone thinks they know something, they do not yet know as they ought to know.
3But if anyone loves God, they are known by Him.
15Let all of us who are mature think this way. And if in anything you think differently, that too God will reveal to you.
16Only let us hold true to what we have already attained.
16So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Even though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer.
4I am not aware of anything against myself, but that does not make me innocent. The one who judges me is the Lord.
5Therefore, do not judge anything before the appointed time; wait until the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will disclose the motives of hearts. At that time, each person will receive praise from God.
6Brothers and sisters, I have applied these things to myself and Apollos for your sake, so that you may learn from us not to go beyond what is written. Then you will not be puffed up in being a follower of one of us over and against another.
19For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God’s sight. As it is written, 'He catches the wise in their craftiness.'
20And again, 'The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile.'
21So then, let no one boast in human leaders, for all things are yours—
7Reflect on what I am saying, for the Lord will give you understanding in everything.
7Do you look only at outward appearances? If anyone is confident that he belongs to Christ, let him consider again that just as he belongs to Christ, so also do we.
20Where is the wise person? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made the wisdom of the world foolish?
13Who can fathom the Spirit of the Lord, or instruct the Lord as his counselor?
31But if we were more discerning with regard to ourselves, we would not come under judgment.
32Nevertheless, when we are judged by the Lord, we are disciplined so that we may not be condemned with the world.
5For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit.
6The mindset of the flesh is death, but the mindset of the Spirit is life and peace.
6For God, who said, 'Let light shine out of darkness,' has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of God's glory displayed in the face of Jesus Christ.
7But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us.
27And He who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God's will.
16Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but associate with the lowly. Do not be wise in your own estimation.
3Don't you know that we will judge angels? How much more the matters of this life!
2Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—His good, pleasing, and perfect will.

9But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Him.
20Brothers and sisters, do not be children in your thinking. Be infants in regard to evil, but in your thinking be mature.
17that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know Him better.
6We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us; whoever is not from God does not listen to us. By this, we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error.
4In their case, the god of this age has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
30It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness, and redemption.
20But that is not the way you learned Christ,
10But you, why do you judge your brother or sister? Or why do you treat them with contempt? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
10We are fools for Christ, but you are wise in Christ! We are weak, but you are strong! You are honored, but we are dishonored!
19and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
