16Then they stood at their prescribed places, according to the Law of Moses the man of God. The priests sprinkled the blood handed to them by the Levites.
17Since many in the assembly had not consecrated themselves, the Levites were responsible for slaughtering the Passover lambs for everyone who was not ceremonial clean to dedicate them to the LORD.
