10He has delivered us from such a deadly peril, and He will deliver us again. On Him we have set our hope that He will continue to deliver us,
7For none of us lives for ourselves alone, and none of us dies for ourselves alone.
8If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.
9as unknown, yet well-known; as dying, yet behold, we live; as disciplined, but not put to death;
18For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
6If we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces patient endurance of the same sufferings we also endure.
5For we do not preach ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake.

10We are fools for Christ, but you are wise in Christ! We are weak, but you are strong! You are honored, but we are dishonored!

6We did not seek glory from people, neither from you nor from others.
15All this is for your benefit, so that grace, having increased through the many, may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God.
16Therefore, we do not lose heart. Even though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.
7But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us.
16For who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
11This saying is trustworthy: If we have died with Him, we will also live with Him.
11Whether then it is I or they, this is what we preach, and this is what you believed.
36As it is written: 'For Your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.'
10He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with Him.
1Therefore, since we have this ministry, just as we were shown mercy, we do not lose heart.
3I do not say this to condemn you; I have said before that you are in our hearts, to live together and to die together.
16Do you not know that if you offer yourselves as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey—either of sin, which leads to death, or of obedience, which leads to righteousness?
30And why are we in danger every hour?
