19Again, do you think that we are defending ourselves to you? We are speaking before God in Christ, and all these things, beloved, are for your edification.
2Beloved, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. But we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.
3And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.
2Through Him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.
8Let your speech be sound and beyond reproach, so that any opponent may be ashamed, having nothing bad to say about us.
16Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
