19 And yet this was a small thing in your eyes, O Lord GOD. You have also spoken of your servant's house for a long time to come, and this is instruction for mankind, O Lord GOD!
11 from the time that I appointed judges over my people Israel. And I will give you rest from all your enemies. Moreover, the LORD declares to you that the LORD will make you a house.
12 When your days are fulfilled and you lie down with your fathers, I will raise up your offspring after you, who shall come from your own body, and I will establish his kingdom.
13 He shall build a house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.
15 Nathan relayed all these words and this entire vision to David.
16 Then King David went in and sat before the LORD, and he said: "Who am I, LORD God, and what is my house, that you have brought me this far?
3 This included ten fattened head of cattle, twenty pasture-fed cattle, and a hundred sheep—besides deer, gazelles, roebucks, and fattened fowl.
4 He ruled over all the region west of the Euphrates River, from Tiphsah to Gaza, and over all the kings in that region. He had peace on all sides around him.
5 Judah and Israel lived in safety, each man under his own vine and fig tree, from Dan to Beersheba, all the days of Solomon.
27 For you, O LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, have revealed this to your servant, saying, 'I will build you a house.' Therefore your servant has found courage to pray this prayer to you.
10 On the twenty-third day of the seventh month, he sent the people to their homes, joyful and glad of heart because of the goodness the LORD had shown to David, to Solomon, and to His people Israel.
11 So Solomon finished the house of the LORD and the royal palace, and he successfully accomplished everything he had planned to do for the house of the LORD and for his own house.
12 Then the LORD appeared to Solomon at night and said to him: "I have heard your prayer and have chosen this place for Myself as a house of sacrifice.
22 While she was still speaking with the king, Nathan the prophet arrived.
23 The king was informed, "Nathan the prophet is here." So Nathan came before the king and bowed with his face to the ground.
24 Then Nathan said, "My lord the king, have you declared that Adonijah will reign after you and sit on your throne?
7 In all the places where I have moved with all the people of Israel, did I speak a word to any of the tribal leaders of Israel, whom I commanded to shepherd my people Israel, saying, 'Why have you not built me a house of cedar?'
1 When Solomon had finished building the house of the LORD, the royal palace, and everything he desired to accomplish,
9 Behold, a son will be born to you; he will be a man of rest, and I will give him rest from all his enemies around him. His name will be Solomon, and I will grant peace and quiet to Israel during his reign.
25 And now, O LORD God, confirm forever the word that you have spoken concerning your servant and his house, and do as you have spoken.
6 He said to Judah, "Let us build these cities and surround them with walls, towers, gates, and bars. The land is still ours because we have sought the Lord our God. We sought Him, and He has given us rest on every side." So they built and succeeded.
2 Then King David stood to his feet and said: “Listen to me, my brothers and my people. I had it in my heart to build a resting place for the Ark of the Covenant of the LORD and a footstool for our God, and I made preparations to build it.
25 For David said, 'The Lord, the God of Israel, has given rest to His people, and He dwells in Jerusalem forever.'
14 Then the king turned around and gave a blessing to the entire assembly of Israel, while all the assembly of Israel stood.
46 Moreover, Solomon has taken his seat on the royal throne.
7 Then Nathan said to David, "You are the man! This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: 'I anointed you king over Israel, and I delivered you from the hand of Saul.
10 The LORD has fulfilled the word that He spoke, and I have taken the place of my father David and now sit on the throne of Israel, just as the LORD promised. I have built the house for the name of the LORD, the God of Israel.
10 and as they have done since the time I appointed judges over my people Israel. I will subdue all your enemies. Furthermore, I declare to you that the LORD himself will build a house for you.
7 Now it was in the heart of my father David to build a house for the name of the LORD, the God of Israel.
12 Then David knew that the LORD had established him as king over Israel and had exalted his kingdom for the sake of his people Israel.
47 But it was Solomon who built Him a house.
27 Blessed be the Lord, the God of our ancestors, who put such a thing as this into the heart of the king, to beautify the house of the Lord in Jerusalem.
20 The LORD has fulfilled His word that He spoke: I have arisen in place of my father David, and I sit on the throne of Israel, as the LORD promised. I have also built the house for the name of the LORD, the God of Israel.

4 He said, 'Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, who spoke with His mouth to my father David and has fulfilled it with His hands, saying:
6 In all the places where I walked with Israel, did I ever say to any of the judges of Israel whom I commanded to shepherd my people, "Why have you not built me a house of cedar?"
7 Now then, tell my servant David: 'This is what the LORD of Hosts says: I took you from the pasture, from following the sheep, to be ruler over my people Israel.
7 He also made the Hall of the Throne, known as the Hall of Judgment, where he would judge. It was paneled with cedar from the floor to the ceiling.
