38If you listen to all that I command you and walk in My ways, doing what is right in My eyes by keeping My statutes and commands, as My servant David did, then I will be with you. I will build you a sure house, as I built for David, and I will give Israel to you.
17As for you, if you walk before Me as David your father did, and do all I have commanded, and observe My statutes and judgments,
11Now, my son, may the Lord be with you, so that you may succeed in building the house of the Lord your God, as He has spoken concerning you.
37Just as the LORD was with my lord the king, so may He be with Solomon and make his throne even greater than the throne of my lord King David."
1The Lord sent Nathan to David. When Nathan arrived, he said to him, "There were two men in a city. One was rich, and the other was poor."
3The whole assembly made a covenant with the king at the house of God. Jehoiada said to them, 'Look, the king's son shall reign, as the Lord has spoken concerning the descendants of David.'
35You are to go up with him, and he is to sit on my throne and reign in my place. I have appointed him ruler over Israel and Judah.'
25And now, O LORD God, confirm forever the word that you have spoken concerning your servant and his house, and do as you have spoken.
11Then Nathan said to Bathsheba, Solomon’s mother, "Have you not heard that Adonijah, the son of Haggith, has become king, and our lord David does not know about it?"
12"Now go, please, let me advise you so that you may save your own life and the life of your son Solomon.
9The LORD then spoke to Gad, David’s seer, saying,
10"Go and tell David, ‘This is what the LORD says: I am giving you three options. Choose one of them for Me to carry out against you.’"
4'And as for you, if you walk before Me faithfully, as your father David did, with integrity of heart and uprightness, doing all I have commanded you and keeping My statutes and judgments,

27For you, O LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, have revealed this to your servant, saying, 'I will build you a house.' Therefore your servant has found courage to pray this prayer to you.

19LORD, for the sake of your servant and according to your will, you have done this great thing and revealed all these great promises.
9I have been with you wherever you went and have cut off all your enemies from before you. And I will make for you a great name, like the name of the great ones of the earth.
