33They have turned their backs to Me and not their faces. Though I taught them persistently, they refused to listen or accept correction.
17‘Because they have forsaken Me and burned incense to other gods, provoking Me to anger with all the works of their hands. Therefore, My wrath is kindled against this place, and it will not be quenched.’
22When My glory passes by, I will put you in a cleft in the rock and cover you with My hand until I have passed by.
23Then I will remove My hand, and you will see My back; but My face must not be seen.'
17My eyes are on all their ways; they are not hidden from My face, and their iniquity is not concealed from My eyes.
15I will return to my place until they acknowledge their guilt and seek my face; in their distress they will earnestly seek me.
39therefore I will surely forget you and cast you out of My presence along with the city I gave to you and your fathers.

19But if you turn away and forsake the statutes and commandments I have set before you, and go and serve other gods and worship them,
20then I will uproot you from My land that I have given you, and I will reject this temple I have consecrated for My name. I will make it a byword and an object of ridicule among all peoples.
10But if it does evil in My sight by not listening to My voice, then I will relent concerning the good I had promised to bless it with.
6Do not follow other gods to serve them or worship them. Do not provoke me to anger with the works of your hands; then I will not bring disaster upon you.'
8Just as they have done to me from the day I brought them up out of Egypt until this day—forsaking me and serving other gods—so they are also doing to you.
2But they fail to consider in their hearts that I remember all their evil. Now their deeds surround them; they are before my face.
6With their flocks and herds they will go to seek the Lord, but they will not find him; he has withdrawn from them.
9Purify me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.
25Because they have abandoned Me and burned incense to other gods, provoking Me to anger with all the works of their hands, My wrath will be poured out on this place, and it will not be quenched.'
22And the answer will be: 'Because they abandoned the LORD, the God of their ancestors, who brought them out of Egypt, and have embraced other gods, worshiping and serving them. That is why He has brought all this disaster upon them.'
11On that day, you will not be ashamed of all your deeds by which you rebelled against me. For then I will remove from your midst your proudly exultant ones, and you shall no longer be haughty on my holy mountain.
6For our ancestors were unfaithful and did what was evil in the sight of the LORD our God. They abandoned Him, turned their backs on His dwelling place, and walked away.
8I will set my face against that man and make him a sign and a proverb; I will cut him off from among my people. Then you will know that I am the LORD.

18The men who violated my covenant and did not keep the terms of the covenant they made before me, I will treat like the calf they cut in two and walked between its pieces.
7then I will cut off Israel from the land I have given them, and I will reject this temple I have consecrated for My name. Israel will then become a proverb and an object of ridicule among all peoples.
9And the people will answer, 'Because they abandoned the LORD their God, who brought their ancestors out of Egypt, and they embraced other gods, worshiped them, and served them. That is why the LORD brought all this disaster on them.'
20Only grant me these two things, so that I will not hide myself from You:
16The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry.
28Then they will call to me, but I will not answer; they will seek me earnestly, but they will not find me.
