18They are darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardness of their hearts.

13In Him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in Him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,

13He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son He loves,
6to the praise of His glorious grace, which He has freely given us in the Beloved.
7In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace,
8which He lavished on us in all wisdom and understanding.
9He made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure, which He purposed in Christ,
10for the administration of the fullness of the times, to bring everything together in Christ, both things in heaven and things on earth—in Him.
13Therefore, prepare your minds for action, be sober-minded, and set your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
4since we have heard about your faith in Christ Jesus and your love for all the saints.
5This faith and love spring from the hope stored up for you in heaven, which you have already heard about in the word of truth, the gospel.
8To me, the very least of all the saints, this grace was given: to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,
9and to bring to light for everyone the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in God, who created all things through Jesus Christ,
10so that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known through the church to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places,
11according to the eternal purpose that He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord.
7So that in the coming ages He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places,
5That in every way you were enriched in him, in all speech and all knowledge,

6I pray that your partnership in the faith may become effective through knowing every good thing that is in us for the sake of Christ.
