4 Before Isaiah had gone out of the middle courtyard, the word of the LORD came to him:
5 "Go back and tell Hezekiah, the leader of My people: This is what the LORD, the God of your ancestor David, says: I have heard your prayer; I have seen your tears. Behold, I will heal you. On the third day, you will go up to the house of the LORD.
6 I will add fifteen years to your life. I will rescue you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria. I will defend this city for My sake and for the sake of My servant David."

11 You have heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all the lands by utterly destroying them. Will you be delivered?

10 "This is what Sennacherib king of Assyria says: On what are you trusting, that you remain in Jerusalem under siege?
11 Isn't Hezekiah misleading you, leaving you to die by famine and thirst, by saying, 'The LORD our God will deliver us from the hand of the king of Assyria'?
16 Then Isaiah said to Hezekiah, "Hear the word of the LORD:
15 Now do not let Hezekiah deceive you or mislead you in this way, and do not believe him, for no god of any nation or kingdom has been able to deliver his people from my hand or the hand of my ancestors. How much less will your God save you from my hand?
1 In the fourteenth year of King Hezekiah, Sennacherib, king of Assyria, marched against all the fortified cities of Judah and captured them.
32 until I come and take you to a land like your own—a land of grain and new wine, a land of bread and vineyards, a land of olive trees and honey, so that you may live and not die. Do not listen to Hezekiah, for he is misleading you when he says, ‘The LORD will deliver us.’
33 Has the god of any nation ever delivered his land from the hand of the king of Assyria?
5 So the servants of King Hezekiah went to Isaiah.

18 Today I have made you a fortified city, an iron pillar, and bronze walls to stand against the whole land—against the kings of Judah, its officials, its priests, and the people of the land.
19 They will fight against you but will not overcome you, for I am with you to rescue you,' declares the LORD.
8 Hezekiah asked Isaiah, "What will be the sign that the LORD will heal me and that I will go up to the house of the LORD on the third day?"
17 Incline Your ear, LORD, and hear! Open Your eyes, LORD, and see! Listen to all the words of Sennacherib, who has sent them to mock the living God.
18 Truly, LORD, the kings of Assyria have laid waste all the nations and their lands.
15 And Hezekiah prayed to the LORD, saying:
6 Isaiah said to them, "Tell your master, 'This is what the Lord says: Do not be afraid of the words you have heard, which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed Me with.'
20 I will make you a fortified bronze wall to these people. They will fight against you but will not prevail over you, for I am with you to save you and deliver you,' declares the LORD.
21 'I will deliver you from the hand of the wicked and redeem you from the grasp of the violent.'
16 Incline Your ear, Lord, and hear; open Your eyes, Lord, and see; listen to the words Sennacherib has sent to taunt the living God.
10 Now, have I attacked this land to destroy it without the LORD’s approval? The LORD Himself told me, 'Go up against this land and destroy it.'
