Isaiah said to them, "Tell your master, 'This is what the Lord says: Do not be afraid of the words you have heard, which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed Me with.'

5When King Hezekiah's servants came to Isaiah,

21Then Isaiah son of Amoz sent a message to Hezekiah, saying, "This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: Because you have prayed to Me about Sennacherib king of Assyria,
22this is the word the LORD has spoken against him: 'The Virgin Daughter of Zion despises and mocks you. The Daughter of Jerusalem shakes her head as you flee.
19Then the Rab-shakeh said to them, "Tell Hezekiah: 'This is what the great king, the king of Assyria, says: What is this confidence you have?'
20You say—but they are only empty words—'I have counsel and strength for war.' Now, in whom do you trust that you have rebelled against me?

18Do not let Hezekiah mislead you by saying, ‘The LORD will deliver us.’ Have the gods of any nations ever delivered their lands from the hand of the king of Assyria?
13Then the Rabshakeh stood and called out in a loud voice in Hebrew: 'Hear the words of the great king, the king of Assyria!
14This is what the king says: Do not let Hezekiah deceive you, for he cannot deliver you!
15And do not let Hezekiah make you trust in the LORD by saying, ‘The LORD will surely rescue us; this city will not be handed over to the king of Assyria.’
16Incline Your ear, Lord, and hear; open Your eyes, Lord, and see; listen to the words Sennacherib has sent to taunt the living God.
17Truly, Lord, the kings of Assyria have devastated the nations and their lands.
28Then the Rab-shakeh stood and called out loudly in Hebrew, saying, "Hear the words of the great king, the king of Assyria!
29This is what the king says: ‘Do not let Hezekiah deceive you. He cannot deliver you from my hand.
30Do not let Hezekiah persuade you to trust in the LORD when he says, ‘The LORD will surely deliver us: This city will not be handed over to the king of Assyria.’
4and say to him, 'Be careful, keep calm, and do not be afraid. Do not lose heart because of these two smoldering stubs of firewood—because of the fierce anger of Rezin and Aram and of the son of Remaliah.'
4Then the word of the LORD came to Isaiah:
32Therefore, this is what the Lord says about the king of Assyria: 'He will not enter this city, shoot an arrow here, come before it with a shield, or build a siege ramp against it.'
24Therefore, this is what the Lord, the LORD of Hosts, says: 'My people who dwell in Zion, do not fear Assyria, though they strike you with a rod and lift up their staff against you as Egypt did.'
17Incline Your ear, LORD, and hear! Open Your eyes, LORD, and see! Listen to all the words of Sennacherib, who has sent them to mock the living God.
18Truly, LORD, the kings of Assyria have laid waste all the nations and their lands.
16His servants continued to speak against the LORD God and against His servant Hezekiah.
17Sennacherib also wrote letters to ridicule the LORD, the God of Israel, and to say against Him, "Just as the gods of the nations of other lands did not deliver their people from my hand, so the God of Hezekiah will not deliver His people from my hand."
4The Rabshakeh said to them, 'Say to Hezekiah: This is what the great king, the king of Assyria, says: What is this confidence you rely on?
5You say—it’s only empty words—‘I have advice and strength for war.’ But now, on whom do you trust that you have rebelled against me?
3Then Isaiah the prophet came to King Hezekiah and asked him, "What did these men say, and where did they come from?" Hezekiah replied, "They came to me from a distant land, from Babylon."

33Therefore, this is what the LORD says about the king of Assyria: He will not enter this city or shoot an arrow here. He will not come before it with a shield or build a siege ramp against it.
7"Be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged because of the king of Assyria and the vast army with him, for there is a greater power with us than with him.
26But to the king of Judah who sent you to inquire of the LORD, this is what you shall say to him: 'This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says concerning the words you heard:
