Joshua 6:2
Then the LORD said to Joshua, 'See, I have delivered Jericho, its king, and its mighty warriors into your hands.'

9Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”
10Then Joshua commanded the officers of the people:
11“Go through the camp and command the people, ‘Prepare your provisions, for in three days you will cross the Jordan to take possession of the land the LORD your God is giving you to inherit.’”
13Now when Joshua was near Jericho, he looked up and saw a man standing in front of him with a drawn sword in his hand. Joshua approached him and asked, "Are you for us or for our enemies?"
6The LORD said to Joshua, 'Do not be afraid of them, for by this time tomorrow I will deliver all of them slain before Israel. You are to hamstring their horses and burn their chariots in the fire.'
7So Joshua and all his warriors came against them suddenly at the waters of Merom and attacked them.
2Soon the king of Jericho was told, "Some men from the Israelites have come here tonight to spy out the land."
24They said to Joshua, "The LORD has surely given the whole land into our hands; all the inhabitants of the land are melting in fear because of us."
7Then Moses summoned Joshua and said to him in the presence of all Israel: 'Be strong and courageous, for you will bring this people into the land that the LORD swore to their ancestors to give them, and you shall divide it among them as their inheritance.'
3The LORD your God himself will cross ahead of you. He will destroy these nations before you, and you shall take possession of them. Joshua will cross ahead of you, as the LORD has said.
20When the trumpets sounded, the people shouted. At the sound of the trumpet, when the people gave a great shout, the wall collapsed. Each person charged straight in, and they captured the city.
6Be strong and courageous, for you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them.
10But Joshua had commanded the people, 'Do not give a war cry, do not raise your voices, and do not say a word until the day I tell you to shout. Then shout!'
11So he had the Ark of the LORD carried around the city, circling it once. Then the people returned to camp and spent the night there.
1When all the people had finished crossing the Jordan, the LORD said to Joshua,
25Then Joshua said to them, 'Do not be afraid or discouraged. Be strong and courageous, for this is what the LORD will do to all the enemies you fight against.'
26At that time, Joshua pronounced this oath: 'Cursed before the LORD is the man who rises up to rebuild this city, Jericho; at the cost of his firstborn, he will lay its foundation; and at the cost of his youngest, he will set up its gates.'
27So the LORD was with Joshua, and his fame spread throughout the land.
1When all the kings of the Amorites west of the Jordan and all the kings of the Canaanites by the sea heard how the LORD had dried up the waters of the Jordan to allow the Israelites to cross, their hearts melted, and they lost all courage because of the Israelites.
1The LORD spoke to Joshua, saying:
18The Lord said to Joshua, "Stretch out the javelin in your hand toward Ai, for I will give it into your hand." So Joshua stretched out the javelin in his hand toward the city.
31Then the LORD said to me, 'See, I have begun to deliver Sihon and his land to you. Begin to take possession of it, that you may inherit his land.'
1Now Joshua had become old and advanced in years, and the LORD said to him, "You are old and advanced in years, and much of the land remains to be taken over."
2The LORD answered, "Judah shall go up. I have given the land into his hand."
23Then the LORD gave this command to Joshua son of Nun: 'Be strong and courageous, for you will bring the Israelites into the land I swore to them, and I will be with you.'
5The LORD will deliver them to you, and you must act toward them according to the entire commandment I have instructed you.
12Joshua captured all the cities of these kings and their kings as well. He struck them down with the sword and completely destroyed them, as Moses the servant of the LORD had commanded.
