And I said to you, ‘I am the Lord your God; do not fear the gods of the Amorites in whose land you live.’ But you did not listen to my voice.

29Then I said to you, 'Do not be terrified or afraid of them.'

42But the LORD said to me, 'Tell them, "Do not go up or fight, because I am not with you; you will be defeated by your enemies."'
13Fear the LORD your God, serve Him only, and take your oaths in His name.

20Then I said to you, 'You have come to the hill country of the Amorites, which the LORD our God is giving us.'
21See, the LORD your God has set the land before you. Go up and take possession of it, just as the LORD, the God of your fathers, has promised you. Do not be afraid or discouraged.
13But if you say, 'We will not stay in this land,' and do not listen to the voice of the LORD your God,
5At that time, I stood between the LORD and you to declare His word to you, because you were afraid of the fire and did not go up the mountain. He said:
6"I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.
4Which I commanded your ancestors on the day I brought them out of the land of Egypt, out of the iron furnace, saying: Obey my voice and do everything I command you, and you will be my people, and I will be your God.
10'It was I who brought you up from the land of Egypt and led you forty years in the wilderness, to possess the land of the Amorites.'
11The LORD said to the Israelites, 'Did I not rescue you from Egypt, the Amorites, the Ammonites, and the Philistines?
4Do not turn to idols or make gods of cast metal for yourselves. I am the LORD your God.
23And when the LORD sent you from Kadesh Barnea, saying, 'Go up and take possession of the land I have given you,' you rebelled against the command of the LORD your God. You did not trust him or obey his voice.
6When you came to this place, Sihon king of Heshbon and Og king of Bashan came out to fight against us, but we defeated them.
18Do not be afraid of them. Remember well what the LORD your God did to Pharaoh and all Egypt—
6Do not follow other gods to serve them or worship them. Do not provoke me to anger with the works of your hands; then I will not bring disaster upon you.'
22Do not be afraid of them, for the LORD your God is the one who fights for you.
23But this is what I commanded them: Listen to my voice, and I will be your God, and you will be my people. Walk in all the ways I command you, so that it may go well with you.
13'But you have forsaken Me and served other gods. Therefore, I will no longer rescue you.'
18The LORD drove out all the peoples before us, including the Amorites who lived in the land. We too will serve the LORD, for He is our God.
2God spoke to Moses and said to him, "I am the LORD."
10Obey the voice of the LORD your God and follow His commandments and statutes that I am giving you today.
8'And I will bring you to the land that I swore with uplifted hand to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. I will give it to you as a possession. I am the LORD.'
9Only do not rebel against the LORD, and do not be afraid of the people of the land, for we will devour them. Their protection is gone, and the LORD is with us. Do not be afraid of them.
32But in this matter, you did not trust in the LORD your God,
11Then the LORD said to me, 'Arise, set out ahead of the people so that they may go and take possession of the land that I swore to their ancestors to give to them.'
13I gave you a land on which you had not labored, and cities you did not build. You are living in them and eating from vineyards and olive groves you did not plant.
14Now, fear the LORD and serve Him with sincerity and truth. Put away the gods your ancestors worshiped beyond the Euphrates River and in Egypt, and serve the LORD.
10Then the LORD said to Moses,
1Hear the word that the Lord has spoken to you, O house of Israel.
17Do not take advantage of one another, but fear your God; I am the LORD your God.
45Then you returned and wept before the LORD, but He did not listen to your cries or pay attention to you.
4you must not listen to that prophet or dreamer. For the LORD your God is testing you to know whether you truly love Him with all your heart and all your soul.

7And I said to them, 'Each of you, get rid of the detestable things your eyes are set on, and do not defile yourselves with the idols of Egypt. I am the LORD your God.'
16But be careful, or your heart might be deceived, and you will turn away and worship other gods and bow down to them.
2The LORD said to me: 'Do not be afraid of him, for I have handed him over to you along with all his people and his land. Do to him as you did to Sihon, king of the Amorites, who lived in Heshbon.'
14But if you will not listen to me and will not carry out all these commandments,
