    11 Therefore, this is what the LORD says: ‘I am bringing disaster upon them from which they cannot escape. Even though they will cry out to me, I will not listen to them.’

    12 The cities of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem will go and cry out to the gods to whom they burn incense, but those gods will not save them in their time of disaster.

    6 Do not follow other gods to serve them or worship them. Do not provoke me to anger with the works of your hands; then I will not bring disaster upon you.'
