  • 14I will be his father, and he shall be my son. When he sins, I will discipline him with the rod of men and with the stripes of the sons of men.

  • 17I will carry out great acts of vengeance on them and punish them with furious rebukes. Then they will know that I am the LORD, when I take vengeance on them.

  • 7The more they increased, the more they sinned against me. I will turn their glory into shame.

  • 43Because you did not remember the days of your youth but enraged me with all these things, I will bring your conduct down upon your own head, declares the Lord GOD. Have you not committed lewdness in addition to all your other detestable acts?

  • 14Will your heart stand firm? Will your hands be strong when I deal with you? I, the LORD, have spoken, and I will do it.
