  • 1 Chr 29:12-18 : 12 Wealth and honor come from you, and you rule over everything. In your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all. 13 Now, our God, we give you thanks and praise your glorious name. 14 But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give so generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand. 15 For we are strangers and temporary residents before you, as were all our ancestors. Our days on earth are like a shadow, without hope. 16 LORD our God, all this abundance that we have provided to build you a house for your holy name comes from your hand, and all of it belongs to you. 17 I know, my God, that you test the heart and are pleased with integrity. In the uprightness of my heart, I have freely offered all these things; and now I have seen your people, who are present here, joyfully and willingly give to you. 18 LORD, the God of our fathers Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, keep these intentions and thoughts in the hearts of your people forever, and direct their hearts toward you.

  • Acts 17:25 : 25 Nor is he served by human hands as if he needed anything, since he himself gives everyone life, breath, and everything else.
  • 2 Cor 8:9 : 9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that through His poverty you might become rich.
  • Heb 2:7-9 : 7 You made him a little lower than the angels; You crowned him with glory and honor, 8 and You put everything under his feet.' In putting everything under him, God left nothing that is not subject to him. However, at present, we do not yet see everything subjected to him. 9 But we do see Jesus, who was made lower than the angels for a little while, now crowned with glory and honor because He suffered death, so that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone.
