15In those days, I saw people in Judah treading winepresses on the Sabbath, bringing in heaps of grain, loading them on donkeys, as well as carrying wine, grapes, figs, and all kinds of burdens, bringing them into Jerusalem on the Sabbath day. So, I warned them on the day they were selling their provisions.
16People from Tyre who lived there were bringing in fish and all kinds of merchandise and selling them on the Sabbath to the people of Judah and in Jerusalem.
11So I rebuked the officials and asked, "Why is the house of God neglected?" Then I gathered them together and stationed them at their posts.
20Say to them, 'Listen to the word of the LORD, you kings of Judah, all Judah, and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem who enter through these gates.'
21This is what the LORD says: 'Be careful not to carry any load on the Sabbath day, or bring it through the gates of Jerusalem.'
22Do not bring any load out of your houses or do any work on the Sabbath, but keep the Sabbath day holy, as I commanded your ancestors.
24But if you diligently obey Me, declares the LORD, and do not bring any load through the gates of this city on the Sabbath, but keep the Sabbath day holy and do no work on it,
27But if you do not obey Me to keep the Sabbath day holy by not carrying any loads as you come through the gates of Jerusalem on the Sabbath, then I will kindle a fire in its gates, and it will consume the fortresses of Jerusalem and will not be extinguished.
8You have despised my holy things and profaned my Sabbaths.
6When I heard their outcry and these words, I became extremely angry.
7I took counsel with myself, and then I confronted the nobles and officials, saying to them, 'You are exacting interest from your own people!' So I called together a large assembly to deal with them.
8I said to them, 'We have redeemed our fellow Jews who were sold to the nations, as much as we were able. Now, you are selling your own people, only for them to be sold back to us!' They stayed silent, unable to say a word.
9Then I said, 'What you are doing is not right. Shouldn’t you walk in the fear of our God to avoid the reproach of the nations, our enemies?'
26Her priests do violence to my law and profane my holy things; they do not distinguish between the holy and the common or teach the difference between the unclean and the clean. They shut their eyes to my Sabbaths, and so I am profaned among them.

13If you keep your foot from breaking the Sabbath, from doing as you please on my holy day, and you call the Sabbath a delight and the Lord's holy day honorable, and if you honor it by not going your own way or doing as you please or speaking idle words,
12But you profane it by saying, 'The LORD's table is defiled, and its food is contemptible.'
13You say, 'What a burden!' and you sniff at it with contempt, says the LORD of Hosts. When you bring stolen, lame, or sick animals and offer them as sacrifices, should I accept them from your hands? says the LORD.
17Do you not see what they are doing in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?
7By presenting defiled food on my altar. But you ask, 'How have we defiled you?' By saying, 'The LORD's table is contemptible.'
8Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
9"This is what the LORD says: 'In this way I will ruin the pride of Judah and the great pride of Jerusalem.
25So I confronted them, cursed them, struck some of them, pulled out their hair, and made them swear by God: 'You must not give your daughters in marriage to their sons or take their daughters for your sons or yourselves.'
14Furthermore, all the leaders of the priests and the people multiplied their unfaithful deeds, following all the abominations of the nations. They defiled the house of the LORD, which He had sanctified in Jerusalem.
17You have wearied the Lord with your words. Yet you ask, 'How have we wearied Him?' By saying, 'Everyone who does evil is good in the eyes of the Lord, and He delights in them,' or 'Where is the God of justice?'
7I returned to Jerusalem and understood the evil thing that Eliashib had done for Tobiah by providing him a room in the courts of the house of God.
14But the leader of the synagogue, indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, said to the crowd, 'There are six days for work. So come to be healed on those days, not on the Sabbath.'
13Your words against me have been harsh, says the Lord. But you ask, 'What have we spoken against you?
6The LORD said to me, ‘Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying: Listen to the words of this covenant and do them.’
7For I earnestly warned your ancestors on the day I brought them out of the land of Egypt until this very day, persistently saying: Listen to my voice.
9Then the LORD said to me, ‘A conspiracy has been found among the people of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.’
17Then I said to them, "You see the trouble we are in: Jerusalem is in ruins, and its gates have been burned by fire. Come, let us rebuild the wall of Jerusalem, so that we will no longer be a disgrace."

13But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness. They did not follow my statutes and rejected my ordinances—though by them a person will live if they do them—and they greatly profaned my Sabbaths. So I said I would pour out my wrath on them in the wilderness to destroy them.
31They pledged not to give their daughters in marriage to the peoples of the land or to take their daughters for their sons.
16because they rejected my ordinances, did not walk in my statutes, and profaned my Sabbaths, for their hearts followed after their idols.
19You have profaned me among my people for handfuls of barley and scraps of bread. By lying to my people, who listen to lies, you have killed those who should not have died and spared those who should not live.
16I will pronounce My judgments against them for all their evil in forsaking Me, burning incense to other gods, and worshiping the works of their own hands.

17And He said to me, 'Have you seen this, son of man? Is it a trivial thing for the house of Judah to commit the abominations they commit here? For they have filled the land with violence and continually anger Me. Behold, they are even putting the branch to their nose!
9Then I ordered the rooms to be purified, and I brought back the articles of the house of God, along with the grain offerings and the incense.
