  • 9Have you not driven out the priests of the LORD, the descendants of Aaron, and the Levites, and appointed your own priests like the peoples of other lands? Whoever comes with a young bull and seven rams can become a priest of what are not gods.

  • 16But then you turned back and profaned my name. You took back the servants and maidservants whom you had set free, allowing them to go wherever they desired, and you brought them back into subjection to become your slaves again.

  • 4Her prophets are reckless, treacherous men; her priests have profaned the sanctuary and have done violence to the law.

  • 30Therefore, say to the house of Israel: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Will you defile yourselves the way your fathers did and lust after their detestable things?'
