12Then the LORD said to Moses, "Go up this mountain of the Abarim range and see the land that I have given to the Israelites."
13After you have seen it, you too will be gathered to your people, as your brother Aaron was.
25The LORD said to Moses,
26'Take a count of the plunder that was captured, both man and beast, you and Eleazar the priest and the chief fathers of the congregation.'
27'Divide the plunder between the warriors who went out to battle and the rest of the congregation.'
20Moses said to them, "If you will do this—if you arm yourselves for battle before the Lord,
21and all your armed men cross over the Jordan before the Lord until He has driven out His enemies from His presence—
22then the land will be subdued before the Lord, and afterward you may return and be free from obligation to the Lord and Israel. This land will then be your possession before the Lord.
15And Moses said to them, 'Have you spared all the women?'
19Now the LORD said to Moses in Midian, 'Go back to Egypt, for all the men who were seeking your life are now dead.'
17Now, kill every male among the children, and kill every woman who has had sexual relations with a man.
43Rejoice, you nations, with His people, for He will avenge the blood of His servants; He will take vengeance on His enemies and make atonement for His land and people.
42From the half belonging to the Israelites, which Moses had separated from the men who fought in battle,
9That night the LORD said to him, "Get up and go down against the camp, for I have given it into your hands.
23The men of Israel from Naphtali, Asher, and all Manasseh were called out, and they pursued the Midianites.
27Then he said to them, "This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: 'Each man put his sword on his side. Go back and forth through the camp, from gate to gate, and kill your brother, your friend, and your neighbor.'"

50There, on the mountain that you climb, you will die and be gathered to your people, just as your brother Aaron died on Mount Hor and was gathered to his people.

10The LORD said to Moses,
14Your wives, your children, and your livestock may remain in the land that Moses gave you on the east side of the Jordan. But you, all your strong warriors, fully armed, must cross ahead of your brothers and help them.
15Until the LORD gives your brothers rest, as He has given you, and they also take possession of the land the LORD your God is giving them, then you may return to the land of your possession and settle it—the land that Moses, the servant of the LORD, gave you east of the Jordan toward the sunrise.
14The LORD said to Moses, 'Behold, the time of your death is near. Call Joshua and present yourselves at the tent of meeting so that I may commission him.' So Moses and Joshua went and stood at the tent of meeting.
5The LORD will deliver them to you, and you must act toward them according to the entire commandment I have instructed you.
7Then Moses summoned Joshua and said to him in the presence of all Israel: 'Be strong and courageous, for you will bring this people into the land that the LORD swore to their ancestors to give them, and you shall divide it among them as their inheritance.'
52The Lord spoke to Moses,

10When you go out to war against your enemies, and the LORD your God gives them into your hand and you take captives,
28So Moses gave orders about them to Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun, and the leaders of the tribes of Israel.
