We are no worse off if we do not eat, and no better off if we do. 9 But be careful that this right of yours does not somehow become a stumbling block to those who are weak. 10 For if someone sees you, who have knowledge, eating in an idol's temple, won’t their weak conscience be emboldened to eat food sacrificed to idols? 11 So the weak brother or sister, for whom Christ died, is destroyed by your knowledge. 12 When you sin in this way against your brothers and sisters and wound their weak consciences, you are sinning against Christ. 13 Therefore, if food causes my brother to stumble, I will never eat meat again so that I will not cause my brother to stumble.
