20 Have I not written for you thirty sayings of counsel and knowledge?
6 If you point these things out to the brothers and sisters, you will be a good servant of Christ Jesus, nourished by the words of faith and the good teaching that you have followed.
2 For I give you good teaching; do not abandon my instruction.
7 In all things, present yourself as an example of good works, with integrity, dignity, and incorruptibility in your teaching.
4 Do not answer a fool according to his folly, or you will become like him yourself.
5 Answer a fool according to his folly, or he will be wise in his own eyes.
10 But you have closely followed my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, patience, love, and endurance.
20 Brothers and sisters, do not be children in your thinking. Be infants in regard to evil, but in your thinking be mature.
8 But you have turned aside from the way, and by your teaching have caused many to stumble. You have violated the covenant with Levi, says the Lord of Hosts.
23 For the commandment is a lamp, the teaching is a light, and the corrections of discipline are the way to life.
19 For you gladly put up with fools, since you are so wise.
9 Instruct the wise, and they will be wiser still; teach the righteous, and they will add to their learning.
18 Let no one deceive themselves. If anyone among you thinks they are wise in this age, let them become foolish so that they may become wise.
