And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made horns of iron for himself, and he said, Thus says the Lord, With these you shall push the Syrians, until you have destroyed them.

30 Now the king of Syria had commanded the captains of the chariots that were with him, saying, Fight not with small or great, except only with the king of Israel.

5 He also followed their counsel and went with Jehoram the son of Ahab, king of Israel, to war against Hazael king of Syria at Ramoth-gilead, and the Syrians wounded Joram.
18 For behold, I have made you this day a fortified city, and an iron pillar, and bronze walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against its princes, against its priests, and against the people of the land.
16 He said to the king of Israel, "Put your hand on the bow." And he put his hand upon it, and Elisha put his hands on the king's hands.
17 He said, "Open the window eastward." And he opened it. Then Elisha said, "Shoot." And he shot. He said, "The arrow of the LORD'S deliverance, and the arrow of deliverance from Syria; for you shall smite the Syrians in Aphek, until you have destroyed them."
31 But the king of Syria commanded his thirty-two captains who had rule over his chariots, saying, Fight neither with small nor great, but only with the king of Israel.
32 And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, that they said, Surely it is the king of Israel. And they turned aside to fight against him: and Jehoshaphat cried out.

3 And send them to the king of Edom, and to the king of Moab, and to the king of the Ammonites, and to the king of Tyre, and to the king of Sidon, by the hand of the messengers which come to Jerusalem to Zedekiah, king of Judah;
22 Now therefore, behold, the LORD has put a lying spirit in the mouth of these your prophets, and the LORD has declared disaster against you.

31 Then he said, God do so and more also to me, if the head of Elisha the son of Shaphat shall remain on him today.
6 Then the king of Israel gathered the prophets together, about four hundred men, and said to them, Shall I go against Ramothgilead to battle, or shall I refrain? And they said, Go up; for the Lord shall deliver it into the king’s hand.
21 Because you have pushed with side and with shoulder, and pushed all the diseased with your horns, till you have scattered them abroad;
19 The man of God was angry with him and said, "You should have struck five or six times; then you would have smitten Syria until it was destroyed. But now you shall smite Syria only three times."
17 And it shall come to pass, that whoever escapes the sword of Hazael, Jehu shall slay; and whoever escapes the sword of Jehu, Elisha shall slay.
13 For I have bent Judah for myself, filled the bow with Ephraim, and raised up your sons, O Zion, against your sons, O Greece, and made you like the sword of a mighty man.
6 Then Jeremiah the prophet spoke all these words to Zedekiah king of Judah in Jerusalem,
22 And because of them a curse will be used by all the exiles of Judah who are in Babylon, saying, 'The LORD make you like Zedekiah and like Ahab, whom the king of Babylon roasted in the fire;'
12 And Jehoshaphat said, "The word of the LORD is with him." So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat and the king of Edom went down to him.
11 And the king of Israel answered and said, Tell him, Let not the one who girds on his armor boast himself like the one who takes it off.
33 And a certain man drew a bow at random, and struck the king of Israel between the joints of the armor. Therefore he said to his chariot driver, Turn your hand, that you may carry me out of the battle, for I am wounded.
15 Behold, I will make you a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth: you shall thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and shall make the hills as chaff.
12 The Syrians before and the Philistines behind; and they will devour Israel with open mouth. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
22 Hazael king of Syria oppressed Israel all the days of Jehoahaz.
26 And as for the king of Judah, who sent you to inquire of the LORD, so shall you say to him, Thus says the LORD God of Israel concerning the words which you have heard;
3 The anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel, and he delivered them into the hand of Hazael king of Syria, and into the hand of Benhadad, the son of Hazael, all their days.
