18 It shall not seem hard to you when you send him away free from you; for he has been worth a double hired servant to you, in serving you six years: and the LORD your God shall bless you in all that you do.
2 If you buy a Hebrew servant, he shall serve six years; and in the seventh he shall go out free, without paying anything.

45 Moreover of the children of the strangers who dwell among you, from them shall you buy, and from their families that are with you, which they begot in your land: and they shall be your possession.
46 And you shall take them as an inheritance for your children after you, to inherit them for a possession; they shall be your bondmen forever: but over your brethren the children of Israel, you shall not rule one over another with rigor.
26 If a man strikes the eye of his servant or the eye of his maid so that it is destroyed, he shall let him go free for his eye's sake.
27 And if he knocks out his male servant's tooth, or his maidservant's tooth, he shall let him go free for his tooth's sake.
