And the LORD said unto me, Do not distress the Moabites, nor contend with them in battle; for I will not give you any of their land for a possession, because I have given Ar to the children of Lot for a possession.

8 I have heard the reproach of Moab, and the revilings of the children of Ammon, by which they have reproached my people and magnified themselves against their border.
9 Therefore as I live, says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Surely Moab shall be as Sodom, and the children of Ammon as Gomorrah, even a breeding of nettles, and salt pits, and a perpetual desolation: the remnant of my people shall plunder them, and the remnant of my people shall possess them.
18 Then they went through the wilderness, and bypassed the land of Edom and the land of Moab, and came by the east side of the land of Moab, and camped on the other side of Arnon, but did not enter the border of Moab: for Arnon was the border of Moab.
23 So now the LORD God of Israel has dispossessed the Amorites from before his people Israel, and should you possess it?
24 Will you not possess that which Chemosh your god gives you to possess? So whoever the LORD our God drives out from before us, them will we possess.
25 And now, are you any better than Balak the son of Zippor, king of Moab? Did he ever strive against Israel, or did he ever fight against them,
10 And now, see, the children of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, whom You would not let Israel invade when they came out of the land of Egypt, but they turned from them and did not destroy them;
31 And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have begun to give Sihon and his land before you; begin to possess, that you may inherit his land.
24 Rise up, take your journey, and cross over the river Arnon; behold, I have given into your hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land; begin to possess it and engage him in battle.
18 And this is but a trivial thing in the sight of the LORD; He will also deliver the Moabites into your hand.
36 From Aroer by the edge of the river Arnon, and from the city by the river, even unto Gilead, there was not a city too strong for us; the LORD our God delivered all unto us.

9 Is not the whole land before you? separate yourself, I pray you, from me: if you will take the left hand, then I will go to the right; or if you depart to the right hand, then I will go to the left.
20 And I said to you, You have come to the mountain of the Amorites, which the LORD our God is giving to us.
21 Behold, the LORD your God has set the land before you: go up and possess it, as the LORD God of your fathers has told you; do not fear, neither be discouraged.
21 Furthermore the LORD was angry with me for your sakes, and swore that I should not go over Jordan, and that I should not go into that good land, which the LORD your God gives you for an inheritance:
9 From Aroer, that is upon the bank of the river Arnon, and the city that is in the midst of the river, and all the plain of Medeba to Dibon;
8 And we took their land, and gave it for an inheritance to the Reubenites, and to the Gadites, and to the half tribe of Manasseh.
1 Thus says the LORD: For three transgressions of Moab, and for four, I will not turn away its punishment; because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime:
9 Give wings to Moab, that it may flee and get away; for its cities shall be desolate, without any to dwell in them.
12 And this land, which we possessed at that time, from Aroer, which is by the river Arnon, and half the mountain of Gilead, and its cities, I gave to the Reubenites and to the Gadites.
8 Behold, I have set the land before you: go in and possess the land which the LORD swore to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give to them and to their descendants after them.
15 until the LORD has given your brethren rest, as he has given you, and they also have possessed the land which the LORD your God is giving them. Then you shall return to the land of your possession and enjoy it, which Moses the LORD's servant gave you on this side of the Jordan toward the sunrise.
18 And Lot said to them, Oh, not so, my Lord.
5 Therefore, they said, if we have found favor in your sight, let this land be given to your servants as a possession, and do not bring us over the Jordan.
24 So when they came to the camp of Israel, the Israelites rose up and attacked the Moabites, so that they fled before them; and they continued attacking and defeated the Moabites in their land.
