2In hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began;
22But now, having been freed from sin and having become servants of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end everlasting life.
8For he who sows to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he who sows to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
7In all things showing yourself a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing integrity, dignity, sincerity,
19Storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.
3Knowing this, that the testing of your faith produces patience.
11Behold, we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very compassionate and full of mercy.
17For it is better, if it is the will of God, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.
2For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.
2But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who commit such things.
6And to knowledge self-control; and to self-control patience; and to patience godliness;
13Therefore, gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully on the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
9The Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment;
14Or to governors, as to those who are sent by Him for the punishment of evildoers and for the praise of those who do good.
15For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:
11For so an entrance will be provided to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
21Who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.
13Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ;
8Finally there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on that day; and not only to me but also to all who have loved His appearing.
