5But to him who does not work, but believes in him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
6Even as David also describes the blessedness of the man to whom God credits righteousness apart from works,
8If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9And be found in him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith:
4Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? Not one.
29That no flesh should glory in his presence.
5Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
14What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid.
5But if our unrighteousness highlights the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who inflicts wrath? (I speak as a man)
6Certainly not: for then how will God judge the world?
17All unrighteousness is sin, and there is a sin not leading to death.
15Because the law produces wrath; for where there is no law, there is no transgression.
12Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned:
13For until the law sin was in the world, but sin is not charged when there is no law.
1Therefore you are without excuse, O man, whoever you are that judges: for in what you judge another, you condemn yourself; for you who judge do the same things.
2But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who commit such things.
9Not of works, lest any man should boast.
18Therefore, as through one offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one act of righteousness the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life.
1The transgression of the wicked speaks within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.
