Zechariah 2:8
For thus says the LORD of hosts: After the glory has He sent me to the nations which plundered you: for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye.

15And I am very displeased with the nations at ease; for I was a little angry, and they helped forward the affliction.
1Behold, the day of the LORD comes, and your spoil shall be divided in the midst of you.
5And your eyes shall see, and you shall say, The LORD will be magnified beyond the border of Israel.
7Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon you, the most terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of your wisdom, and they shall defile your brightness.
8Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
9The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and you shall know that the LORD of hosts has sent me to you.
10For who has despised the day of small things? For they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.
16Therefore all who devour you shall be devoured; and all your adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity; those who plunder you shall become plunder, and all who prey upon you I will give for prey.
12And all nations shall call you blessed, for you shall be a delightful land, says the LORD of hosts.
9Thus says the LORD of hosts, They shall thoroughly glean the remnant of Israel as a vine; turn back your hand as a grape gatherer into the baskets.
9Then the LORD put forth His hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said to me, Behold, I have put My words in your mouth.
2For the LORD has turned away the grandeur of Jacob, as the grandeur of Israel: for the emptiers have emptied them out, and ruined their vine branches.
16And I have put my words in your mouth, and I have covered you in the shadow of my hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say to Zion, 'You are my people.'
24Therefore says the Lord, the LORD of hosts, the mighty One of Israel, Ah, I will ease myself of my adversaries, and avenge myself of my enemies:
8Therefore, the wrath of the LORD was upon Judah and Jerusalem, and He has delivered them to trouble, to astonishment, and to hissing, as you see with your eyes.
6Thus says the LORD of hosts; If it is marvelous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in these days, should it also be marvelous in My eyes? says the LORD of hosts.
11Now also are many nations gathered against you, that say, 'Let her be defiled, and let our eyes gaze upon Zion.'
7And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come, and I will fill this house with glory, says the LORD of hosts.
8The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine, says the LORD of hosts.
7At that time shall the present be brought to the LORD of hosts from a people scattered and polished, and from a people feared from their beginning until now; a nation divided and trampled under foot, whose land the rivers have ravaged, to the place of the name of the LORD of hosts, Mount Zion.
4In that day shall one take up a parable against you, and lament with a doleful lamentation, and say, We are utterly spoiled: he has changed the portion of my people; how has he removed it from me! Turning away, he has divided our fields.
3Israel was holiness unto the LORD, and the firstfruits of his increase: all that devour him shall offend; evil shall come upon them, says the LORD.
5Because you have taken my silver and my gold, and have carried into your temples my precious pleasant things.
23In that day, says the LORD of hosts, I will take you, O Zerubbabel, My servant, the son of Shealtiel, says the LORD, and will make you like a signet ring: for I have chosen you, says the LORD of hosts.
5Behold, I am against you, says the LORD of hosts; and I will lift your skirts over your face, and I will show the nations your nakedness, and the kingdoms your shame.

7Therefore thus says the LORD of hosts, Behold, I will melt them, and test them; for how shall I do for the daughter of my people?
4And though they go into captivity before their enemies, from there I will command the sword, and it shall slay them; and I will set my eyes upon them for evil, and not for good.

9Thus says the LORD, After this manner will I mar the pride of Judah, and the great pride of Jerusalem.
18And the word of the LORD of hosts came to me, saying,
15For behold, I will make you small among the nations, and despised among men.
8Therefore wait for me, says the LORD, until the day that I rise up for the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them my indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.
12Therefore, it shall come to pass, that when the Lord has performed all his work on Mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the proud heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his high looks.
9The women of my people you have cast out from their pleasant houses; from their children you have taken away my glory forever.
8For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen, because their speech and their actions are against the LORD, to provoke the eyes of His glory.
