13We also speak these things, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit—explaining spiritual truths to spiritual people.
17In this, love has been made complete with us, so that we may have confidence on the day of judgment, because as He is, so also are we in this world.
19By this we will know that we belong to the truth and will reassure our hearts in His presence.
13For we write nothing to you other than what you can read and understand, and I hope that you will fully understand,
14just as you have partially understood us, that we are your reason for pride, just as you are ours, in the day of the Lord Jesus.
10to another, miraculous powers; to another, prophecy; to another, distinguishing between spirits; to another, different kinds of tongues; to another, the interpretation of tongues.
9What do you know that we do not know? What insight do you have that is not with us?
3We know that we have come to know Him if we keep His commandments.

12So with yourselves, since you are eager for spiritual gifts, seek to excel in building up the church.
13Therefore, the one who speaks in a tongue should pray that they may interpret what they say.
2Beloved, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. But we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.
6We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us; whoever is not from God does not listen to us. By this, we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error.
26What then shall we say, brothers and sisters? When you come together, each one has a hymn, a teaching, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation. Everything must be done so that the church may be built up.
9for we were only born yesterday and know nothing, and our days on earth are but a shadow.
24But if everyone is prophesying and an unbeliever or uninitiated person enters, they are convicted of sin by all and are examined by all.
40Since God had provided something better for us, so that they would not be made perfect without us.
16For who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
