    10When they arrived at Gibeah, a group of prophets came to meet him. Then the Spirit of God came mightily upon Saul, and he began to prophesy among them.

    27As they were going down to the outskirts of the town, Samuel said to Saul, "Tell the servant to go on ahead of us"—and the servant went on—"but you stay here for a moment, and I will give you a message from God."

    15Now the LORD had revealed to Samuel the day before Saul came,

    19Samuel answered, "I am the seer. Go up ahead of me to the high place, for you will eat with me today. In the morning, I will send you on your way and tell you all that is on your heart.

  • 2On the third day, a man came from Saul’s camp with his clothes torn and dirt on his head. When he arrived before David, he fell to the ground and showed respect.
