27 'But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Even the heavens, the highest heavens, cannot contain You. How much less this house that I have built!'
12 He made darkness his covering around him, dense clouds of water and thick clouds of the skies.
11 He mounted a cherub and flew; He soared on the wings of the wind.
1 When Solomon finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices, and the glory of the LORD filled the temple.

3 Then Solomon and the whole assembly went to the high place at Gibeon, because God's tent of meeting, which Moses, the servant of the Lord, had made in the wilderness, was there.
5 "Go and tell my servant David, 'Thus says the LORD: Is it you who would build me a house to dwell in?
6 For I have not lived in a house since the day I brought the people of Israel up from Egypt, to this day, but I have been moving about in a tent, a tabernacle.
11 And there I have placed the ark, in which is the covenant of the LORD that He made with the people of Israel.
1 Then Solomon began building the house of the LORD in Jerusalem on Mount Moriah, where the LORD had appeared to his father David, at the place that David had prepared on the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.
8 They have lived in it and have built in it a sanctuary for your name, saying,
11 If I say, 'Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me,'
6 He said to me, ‘Solomon your son is the one who will build My house and My courts, for I have chosen him to be My son, and I will be his Father.
1 Then King David said to the entire assembly, "My son Solomon, the one chosen by God, is young and inexperienced, and the work is great because this temple is not for man but for the LORD God."
7 He also made the Hall of the Throne, known as the Hall of Judgment, where he would judge. It was paneled with cedar from the floor to the ceiling.

12 At that time Solomon offered burnt offerings to the Lord on the altar of the Lord that he had constructed in front of the portico.

10 Consider now, for the LORD has chosen you to build a house as the sanctuary. Be strong and do it.
11 Then David gave his son Solomon the plans for the portico of the temple, its buildings, its storerooms, its upper rooms, its inner rooms, and the room for the mercy seat.
22 He reveals deep and hidden things; He knows what is in the darkness, and light dwells with Him.
19 Where is the way that light dwells, and where is the place of darkness,
5 For I have not lived in a house from the day I brought Israel out until this very day. I have moved from tent to tent and from tabernacle to tabernacle.
