Additionally, we will bring a tithe of our land to the Levites, for they collect the tithes in all the towns where we work. 39 A priest, a descendant of Aaron, will accompany the Levites when they collect the tithes, and they will bring a tenth of the collected tithes to the storerooms of the house of our God, to the treasury.

    15You have kept Your promise to Your servant David, my father. With Your mouth, You spoke it, and with Your hand, You have fulfilled it as it is today.

    16'Now, LORD, God of Israel, keep for Your servant David, my father, what You promised him, saying: "You shall never lack a man to sit before Me on the throne of Israel, if only your sons are careful in their ways, walking in My law as you have walked before Me."
