18Then I will establish your royal throne, as I made a covenant with David your father, saying, 'You will never fail to have a man to rule over Israel.'
7Teach them diligently to your children, and speak of them when you sit in your house, when you walk along the road, when you lie down, and when you get up.
8Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips. Meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will prosper and succeed in all you do.

8Then Hilkiah the high priest said to Shaphan the scribe, “I have found the Book of the Law in the house of the LORD.” Hilkiah gave the book to Shaphan, who read it.
12Only may the Lord give you wisdom and understanding and put you in charge of Israel, so that you may keep the law of the Lord your God.
13He declared to you His covenant, which He commanded you to keep—the Ten Commandments—and He wrote them on two stone tablets.
19And give my son Solomon an undivided heart to keep your commandments, your statutes, and your decrees, and to carry out all these plans, building the temple for which I have made preparations.
8Now go, write it on a tablet before them and inscribe it in a book, so it will stand as a witness forever and ever.
28Be careful to obey all these words I command you, so that it may always go well with you and your children after you, because you will be doing what is good and right in the eyes of the Lord your God.
