12Remember that you were slaves in Egypt, and carefully follow these decrees.
18Do not be afraid of them. Remember well what the LORD your God did to Pharaoh and all Egypt—
19the great trials that your eyes saw, the signs, the wonders, the mighty hand, and the outstretched arm by which the LORD your God brought you out. The LORD your God will do the same to all the peoples you fear.

16You saw their detestable things and idols made of wood, stone, silver, and gold that were among them.

4No Ammonite or Moabite may enter the assembly of the LORD, even to the tenth generation; none of their descendants may ever enter the assembly of the LORD.
7Your ancestors cried out to the LORD, and He put darkness between you and the Egyptians. He brought the sea over them and covered them. Your eyes witnessed what I did to Egypt. Then you lived in the wilderness for a long time.
26Then the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying:
40This will help you remember to follow all My commandments and to be holy to your God.
15So be very careful for your own lives, because you did not see any form on the day the LORD spoke to you at Horeb from the midst of the fire.
