3 No one may come up with you, and no one should be seen anywhere on the mountain; even the flocks and herds must not graze near the mountain.
9 The LORD said to Moses, 'Behold, I am coming to you in a dense cloud so that the people may hear when I speak with you and may always believe in you.' Then Moses reported the people's words to the LORD.

15 Then Moses went up to the mountain, and the cloud covered the mountain.
16 The glory of the LORD settled on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it for six days. On the seventh day, the LORD called to Moses from within the cloud.

7 Now Moses used to take a tent and pitch it outside the camp, far away from it. He called it the 'tent of meeting.' Anyone who sought the LORD would go out to the tent of meeting outside the camp.
8 And whenever Moses went out to the tent, all the people would rise and stand at the entrance to their tents, watching Moses until he entered the tent.
9 As Moses entered the tent, the pillar of cloud would descend and stand at the entrance of the tent, and the LORD would speak with Moses.
10 When all the people saw the pillar of cloud standing at the entrance of the tent, they would rise and worship, each at the entrance of their own tent.
5 Then the LORD came down in a cloud, stood there with him, and proclaimed the name of the LORD.
6 Moses and Aaron left the assembly and went to the entrance of the tent of meeting. They fell facedown, and the glory of the LORD appeared to them.
13 The next day, Moses sat to judge the people, and they stood around him from morning until evening.
31 Moses was amazed at what he saw. As he approached to look more closely, he heard the voice of the Lord say,
5 At that time, I stood between the LORD and you to declare His word to you, because you were afraid of the fire and did not go up the mountain. He said:
