20As for Ishmael, I have heard you. I will bless him; I will make him fruitful and greatly multiply his descendants. He will be the father of twelve rulers, and I will make him into a great nation.
21But I will establish My covenant with Isaac, whom Sarah will bear to you at this time next year.

12This is the account of Ishmael, the son of Abraham, whom Hagar the Egyptian, Sarah’s maidservant, bore to Abraham.

4"As for Me, this is My covenant with you: You will be the father of a multitude of nations.
10And she said to Abraham, 'Get rid of that slave woman and her son, for that woman’s son will never share in the inheritance with my son Isaac.'
2Then God said, 'Take your son, your only son, whom you love—Isaac—and go to the land of Moriah. Offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains I will tell you about.'
4He said to me, 'I am about to make you fruitful and multiply you. I will make you a community of peoples, and I will give this land to your descendants after you as a permanent possession.'
14saying, 'Surely I will bless you abundantly and multiply your descendants greatly.'
