One wing of each cherub touched one wall, and their other wings touched each other in the center of the house. 28 He overlaid the cherubim with gold. 29 He decorated the walls of the house all around with carved engravings of cherubim, palm trees, and open flowers, both in the inner and outer rooms. 30 He also overlaid the floor of the house with gold, both the inner and the outer rooms. 31 For the entrance to the inner sanctuary, he made doors of olive wood; the doorposts formed a pentagon. 32 The two doors were made of olive wood, and he carved on them cherubim, palm trees, and open flowers. He overlaid them with gold and spread the gold over the cherubim and the palm trees. 33 In the same way, he made doorposts of olive wood for the entrance to the main hall. They were four-sided. 34 The two doors were of cypress wood. Each door had two folding panels; one door had two folding sections, and the other door also had two folding sections. 35 He carved cherubim, palm trees, and open flowers on them, and he overlaid the carvings with evenly applied gold.
