8 Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
9 The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house, and his hands will complete it. Then you will know that the LORD of Hosts has sent me to you.
15 Those who are far away will come and help build the temple of the LORD. Then you will know that the LORD of Hosts has sent me to you. This will happen if you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God.
7 'I will bring them to my holy mountain and make them joyful in my house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on my altar, for my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations.'

2 Behold, I am making Jerusalem a cup of reeling for all the surrounding nations. Even Judah will be besieged as Jerusalem is attacked.

17 Proclaim again: This is what the Lord of Hosts says: 'My cities will again overflow with prosperity, and the Lord will again comfort Zion and choose Jerusalem.'

9 The Lord of Hosts said in my hearing: Truly, many houses will become desolate—large and beautiful ones, without occupants.
7 At that time, gifts will be brought to the LORD of Hosts from a people tall and smooth-skinned, a people feared far and wide, a mighty and conquering nation divided by rivers, to the place of the name of the LORD of Hosts, to Mount Zion.
12 All nations will call you blessed, for you will be a land of delight, says the Lord of Hosts.
16 The LORD will roar from Zion and shout from Jerusalem; the heavens and the earth will tremble. But the LORD will be a refuge for his people and a stronghold for the children of Israel.
9 This is what the LORD of Hosts says: Let your hands be strong, you who in these days hear these words from the mouths of the prophets who were present when the foundation was laid for rebuilding the temple of the LORD of Hosts.
14 So I will do to the house that bears my name, in which you trust, and to the place I gave to you and your ancestors, just as I did to Shiloh.
11 But now I will not treat the remnant of this people as I did in the past, declares the LORD of Hosts.
12 For the seed of peace will flourish: the vine will yield its fruit, the land will produce its crops, the heavens will give their dew, and I will give these blessings to the remnant of this people.
19 People will go into caves in the rocks and holes in the ground, fleeing from the terror of the Lord and the splendor of His majesty, when He rises to terrify the earth.
11 For from the rising of the sun to its setting, my name will be great among the nations. In every place, incense and pure offerings will be brought to my name, because my name will be great among the nations, says the LORD of Hosts.
4 'I will send it out,' declares the LORD of Hosts, 'and it will enter the house of the thief and the house of the one who swears falsely by my name. It will remain inside their house and consume it completely, including its timber and stones.'
6 The LORD Almighty will come with thunder, earthquake, and a loud noise—storm and tempest, and a consuming flame of fire.
19 In my zeal and fiery wrath I declare: On that day, there will be a great earthquake in the land of Israel.
