In the latter years, you will go against a land that has been brought back from the sword and gathered from many peoples upon the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate. Its people were brought out from the nations, and now they dwell securely, all of them.

  • 13On that day, a great panic from the Lord will come upon them. Each will seize the hand of his neighbor, and they will attack one another.

  • 8I will make the land desolate, because they have acted unfaithfully, declares the Lord GOD.

  • 15For behold, the Lord will come with fire, and His chariots will be like a whirlwind, to bring down His wrath in fury and His rebuke with flames of fire.

  • 14So I will set fire to the wall of Rabbah, and it will consume her palaces amid shouting on the day of battle, with a tempest on the day of the whirlwind.

  • 17Cry out and wail, son of man, for it is against My people; it is against all the princes of Israel. They are delivered to the sword with My people. Therefore, strike your thigh in despair.
