10 When you tell these people all these words, they will ask you, 'Why has the LORD declared such a great calamity against us? What is our guilt? What is the sin that we have committed against the LORD our God?'
11 Then you are to answer them: 'It is because your ancestors abandoned Me,' declares the LORD, 'and followed other gods, served them, and worshiped them. But they abandoned Me and did not keep My law.
12 And you have behaved even more wickedly than your ancestors, each one following the stubbornness of their own evil heart instead of listening to Me.
10 But if it does evil in My sight by not listening to My voice, then I will relent concerning the good I had promised to bless it with.
11 And now, say to the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, ‘Thus says the Lord: Behold, I am shaping disaster against you and devising a plan against you. Turn now, each one from his evil way, and reform your ways and deeds.’
12 But they will say, ‘It’s no use. We will continue to follow our own plans, and each of us will act according to the stubbornness of his own evil heart.’
16 I will pronounce My judgments against them for all their evil in forsaking Me, burning incense to other gods, and worshiping the works of their own hands.
15 This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: I am about to bring upon this city and all its surrounding towns all the disaster I pronounced against them, because they have stiffened their necks and refused to listen to My words.

18 The men who violated my covenant and did not keep the terms of the covenant they made before me, I will treat like the calf they cut in two and walked between its pieces.
10 Make the hearts of this people dull, their ears heavy, and their eyes blind; otherwise, they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn back and be healed."

19 But if you turn away and forsake the statutes and commandments I have set before you, and go and serve other gods and worship them,
