7 Afterward, declares the LORD, I will hand over Zedekiah king of Judah, his officials, the people, and those remaining in this city from the plague, the sword, and the famine, into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of those seeking their lives. He will strike them down with the edge of the sword without pity, without sparing, and without mercy.
20 I will hand them over to their enemies and to those who seek their lives. Their dead bodies will become food for the birds of the sky and the beasts of the earth.
21 And I will hand over Zedekiah king of Judah and his officials into the hand of their enemies, into the hand of those who seek their lives, and into the hand of the army of the king of Babylon that has withdrawn from you.
22 Behold, I am giving a command, declares the Lord, and I will bring them back to this city. They will fight against it, capture it, and burn it with fire. And I will make the cities of Judah a desolation without any inhabitants.
13 I will take away their harvest, declares the LORD. There will be no grapes on the vine, no figs on the tree, and even the leaves will wither. What I have given them will be taken from them.
29 This will be the sign to you,’ declares the LORD, ‘that I will punish you in this place so that you may know that my words will surely stand against you for harm:
30 This is what the LORD says: Behold, I will hand Pharaoh Hophra, king of Egypt, over to his enemies who want to kill him, just as I handed Zedekiah, king of Judah, over to Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, his enemy who sought his life.
27 Behold, I am watching over them for harm and not for good. Every man of Judah who is in the land of Egypt will perish by the sword and by famine until they are completely destroyed.

You will become an object of cursing, horror, condemnation, and disgrace, and you will never see this place again.
6 Then Jeremiah the prophet spoke all these words to Zedekiah, king of Judah, in Jerusalem.
36 Now therefore, this is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says concerning this city about which you are saying, 'It has been handed over to the king of Babylon through sword, famine, and plague':

4 'If they go into captivity before their enemies, from there I will command the sword to kill them. I will set My eyes on them for harm and not for good.'
26 I will hand them over to those who want to take their lives, to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and his servants. But afterward, Egypt will be inhabited again as in ancient days,' declares the Lord.
24 Before your eyes, I will repay Babylon and all the inhabitants of Chaldea for all the evil they have done in Zion, declares the Lord.
8 I will make this city desolate and an object of scorn. Everyone who passes by will be appalled and will scoff because of all its wounds.
31 I will punish him, his descendants, and his servants for their iniquity. I will bring upon them, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and upon the people of Judah, all the disaster I have pronounced against them, because they have not listened to me.
8 Therefore, the wrath of the LORD fell upon Judah and Jerusalem, and He made them an object of horror, devastation, and scorn, as you can see with your own eyes.
18 Jerusalem, the towns of Judah, its kings, and officials, to make them a ruin, a desolation, an object of hissing and cursing, as they are today.
