13Only acknowledge your guilt—that you have rebelled against the LORD your God, scattered your favors to strangers under every spreading tree, and have not obeyed my voice,' declares the LORD.
14Return, faithless children,' declares the LORD, 'for I am your master. I will take you—one from a city and two from a family—and bring you to Zion.
20But like a woman unfaithful to her husband, so you, Israel, have been unfaithful to me,' declares the LORD.
21A voice is heard on the barren heights: the weeping and pleading of the people of Israel, because they have perverted their ways and have forgotten the LORD their God.
22Return, you backsliding children, and I will heal your waywardness. 'Here we are,' they reply, 'for you are the LORD our God.'
5Why then has this people, Jerusalem, turned away in perpetual backsliding? They hold tightly to deceit; they refuse to return.
9Then the LORD said to me, ‘A conspiracy has been found among the people of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.’
10They have turned back to the sins of their ancestors, who refused to listen to my words. They have followed other gods to serve them. The house of Israel and the house of Judah have violated my covenant, which I made with their ancestors.
1Samaria will be found guilty, for she has rebelled against her God. They will fall by the sword; their infants will be dashed to pieces, and their pregnant women will be ripped open.
6But she has rebelled against My rules more wickedly than the nations and against My statutes more than the surrounding countries. They have rejected My judgments and have not walked in My statutes.
7Therefore, this is what the Lord GOD says: Because you are more rebellious than the surrounding nations—you have not walked in My statutes or done what My judgments demand, nor have you even lived according to the laws of the nations around you.
11Judah has been unfaithful, and an abomination has been committed in Israel and in Jerusalem. Judah has profaned the sanctuary of the Lord, which He loves, and has married the daughter of a foreign god.
5For Israel and Judah have not been forsaken by their God, the Lord of Hosts, though their land is full of guilt against the Holy One of Israel.
6Return to the One you have so deeply rebelled against, O sons of Israel.
15Though you, Israel, play the harlot, let not Judah become guilty. Do not go to Gilgal, do not go up to Beth Aven, and do not swear, 'As surely as the LORD lives!'
16For Israel is as stubborn as a rebellious heifer. Now the LORD will pasture them like a lamb in an open field.
7My people are determined to turn from Me. Even though they call to the Most High, He will by no means exalt them together.
19Your own wickedness will discipline you; your backslidings will rebuke you. Consider and see how evil and bitter it is for you to forsake the LORD your God and to have no fear of me,” declares the Lord, the LORD Almighty.
5The pride of Israel testifies against him; Israel and Ephraim will stumble in their guilt, and Judah also will stumble with them.
7Though our iniquities testify against us, LORD, act for the sake of Your name. Indeed, our backslidings are many; we have sinned against You.
29Why do you bring charges against me? You have all rebelled against me,” declares the LORD.
4This is what the LORD says: 'For three transgressions of Judah, and for four, I will not revoke the punishment, because they have rejected the law of the LORD and have not kept His statutes. Their lies have led them astray, lies after which their ancestors walked.'
7How can I pardon you? Your children have forsaken Me and sworn by false gods. I satisfied them, but they committed adultery and gathered at the houses of prostitutes.
4These are the words the LORD spoke concerning Israel and Judah:
19But even Judah did not keep the commandments of the Lord their God. They followed the practices of Israel as the Israelites had done.
6'You have rejected Me,' declares the LORD. 'You keep going backward. So I have stretched out My hand against you and destroyed you; I am tired of relenting.'
3I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hidden from me; for now, Ephraim, you have played the harlot; Israel is defiled.
2Ephraim feeds on the wind and pursues the east wind all day long. They multiply lies and violence, making a covenant with Assyria and sending oil to Egypt.
11And now, say to the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, ‘Thus says the Lord: Behold, I am shaping disaster against you and devising a plan against you. Turn now, each one from his evil way, and reform your ways and deeds.’
16I will pronounce My judgments against them for all their evil in forsaking Me, burning incense to other gods, and worshiping the works of their own hands.

15What right does my beloved have in my house, when she has done so many wicked schemes? Can consecrated meat remove your evil? Then you would exult!
13Woe to them because they have strayed from me! Destruction to them because they have rebelled against me! I long to redeem them, but they speak lies about me.
9He said to me, 'The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is extremely great. The land is full of bloodshed, and the city is full of injustice. They say, "The LORD has abandoned the land, and the LORD does not see."'
4Woe to a sinful nation, a people loaded down with guilt, offspring of evildoers, children who act corruptly! They have abandoned the LORD, spurned the Holy One of Israel, and turned their backs on Him.
1If Israel, declares the LORD, you will return to me, you must remove your detestable things from my presence and not wander away.
11Also for you, Judah, a harvest is appointed, when I restore the fortunes of My people.
51Samaria did not sin as much as you did. You multiplied your abominations more than they did, and your actions have justified your sisters in comparison to all your abominations.
18In those days, the people of Judah and the people of Israel will come together; they will come from a land in the north to the land I gave your ancestors as an inheritance.
9"This is what the LORD says: 'In this way I will ruin the pride of Judah and the great pride of Jerusalem.
11For as the waistband clings to the waist of a man, so I made the whole house of Israel and the whole house of Judah cling to me,' declares the LORD, 'to be my people, my renown, my praise, and my glory. But they would not listen.'
6The LORD said to me, ‘Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying: Listen to the words of this covenant and do them.’
